The Clinician Crisis Response Team (CRT) in the Clinical Services Department will provide direct services to the cross section of the program’s caseload including children, adolescents, adults and families in the assigned offices and via telehealth. The position requires the ability to be on call 24/7 to activate at a moment’s notice during an active crisis. Training and/or experience in trauma or disaster response is required. While not responding to a crisis, this position performs tasks as required by Clinicians in the department. Tasks include, but are not limited to: implementing evidence-based interventions, maintaining a full caseload and fulfilling productivity requirements, completing timely and accurate clinical documentation, and attending supervision, meetings, and trainings. The Clinician CRT role is crucial in providing immediate assistance and facilitating access to further mental health and case management services as needed. These tasks will be carried out within the agency’s policy of confidentiality and with respect for the clients’ rights.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

During Crisis Response:
As a condition of employment, the Clinician of the Crisis Response Team is required:
• To be on call 24/7 and available in-person at all times and days of the week to respond to crisis situations as determined by the JCS President and CEO. This requirement includes being reachable by phone, email or other communication methods at all times in the event of a crisis response activation
• To drive throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County to respond to crises at a moment’s notice and as needed
• To be available to respond swiftly and be present immediately (including after hours) to address the crisis/event in person. If employee is out of town during such an event, it is required that they take the next available flight, train, or other expedited transportation modality to return to work
During usual business hours:
• Provide a full range of mental health and counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families to ensure maximum client benefit
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and best practices to address client’s presenting issues
• Maintain full client caseload to ensure productivity standards (25 hours) are achieved weekly
• Maintain updated Outlook calendar to allow for immediate assignment and appointments for new clients. Independently schedule ongoing clients
• Maintain a flexible 5-day workweek, and be available for evening appointments until 8pm Monday-Thursday. (Schedule will change during deployment of crisis response)
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, and an in-office schedule as required to meet the needs of clients.
• Provide weekly sessions for clients on caseload, and discharge clients as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical records while adhering to compliance standards and regulations, including licensing and accreditation standards, and agency policy and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to: ensuring intake packet and consent forms are complete; completing Biopsychosocial Assessment with clinical summary to support diagnosis; develop Treatment Plan Goals in collaboration with Client and/or parent/guardian and 90-day Treatment Plan Reviews; complete progress notes within 24 hrs. of session; complete Termination/Transfer Summaries within 15 days of case closure/transfer
• Review “Caseload Tracking Form” weekly to ensure tasks and case record requirements are adhered to
• In response to monthly chart audits, make corrections as required, and review with supervisor.
• Meet with supervisor weekly to review caseload and discuss areas impacting services and/or performance, as appropriate
• Attend monthly in-service trainings hosted at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation
• Participation in community outreach
• Meet agency expectations of clinical quantitative and evaluative standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Florida, required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience, including experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, required
• Ability to provide clinical services to children, adolescents, adults and families
• Knowledge evidence-based therapy modalities
• Skilled in working with neglected, abused, and exploited children, older adults, and domestic violence clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar working with EHR software
• Able to collaborate with other disciplines and service providers
• Ability to exercise good judgment and demonstrate good boundaries
• Knowledge of cultural issues and demonstrates ability to be sensitive to the range of clients served by the agency
• Bi-lingual, preferred: English/Spanish or English/Creole
• Must have a reliable source of transportation and a valid Florida Driver’s License with proof of insurance in accordance with agency requirements and have the ability to travel within Miami-Dade and Broward Counties
